If you are thinking of taking up riding and would like to find out about how to handle a horse, and have a trial lesson our 2 hour Introduction will be a good grounding in what's involved. We will show you how to handle and groom your horse & tack up ready to ride. Then you will have a lesson on the basics of riding, including mounting, your position and controlling your horse.



 


Terms and conditions - important

  1. Children must be a minimum of 5 years old to be accepted for lessons, (with the exception of Mini-rider Wanders).
  2. All riders take part at their own risk
  3. We reserve the right to decline any person we believe to be unsafe to ride
  4. Please book your ride in advance to avoid disappointment 
  5. We require 24 hours notice of cancellation
  6. Payment by cash on the day or online in advance only. Please ask for our bank details on booking.
  7. We take no responsibility for personal possessions of riders or other visitors to the Centre.
  8. We respectfully respect that you do not exercise your dog on our premises as we have dogs in the yard at times.
  9. We reserve the right to alter prices without prior notice.
  10. Trainers are banned for riding. Please use shoe/boot with low heel, and either jodphurs or well fitting trousers. We ride in all weathers so remember your waterproofs.
